Re: Kentucky BR 1133

This is already in effect in Indiana, if I am remembering correctly, with a much lower maximum.

The problem is the meth trade here in KY - it has replaced much of the oxycontin problem (not that you would know it by the news...)and we are trying to stop it, as even the process of making it can be hazardous to the maker and any neighbors. I just have a huge problem about KY being in the news so much when our population is 4.5 million, but we never hear about this in NYC or any other cities and states. This all comes back to the question of how do we provide appropriate care for valid cp patients (and cold sufferers now) and keep these vital medicines out of the hands of abusers? Prohibition has been proven not to work, so what is next? Chasing down doctors and patients is not working for anyone. It would be interesting to see a lawsuit against the DEA over withholding vital medical care, practicing medicine without a license, etc.
