Will not show and shouldnt affect anethesia...Ive had many many surgeries, Im on a 1st name basis with my anethesiaologist he lets me take all my meds the morning of, just sip as little water as needed. Telling your DR isnt as important as telling the anethsiaologist he/she will call the night before, 1st ask and Im sure he/she will say its fine...... thats who really needs to know.
