Re: Shouldn't all doctors provide a script on request?

you pay a doctor (who has to got to medschool, and goto conferences on medinces and patient treatment, and diagnosis and so on), and for a diagnosis. if the diagnosis requires medication then you get a script and get the medicine. what's missing from this picture they you don't that your getting from your doctor.

next time you go to your doctor and he statrs talking about "your blood pressure" ask him home many conferences a year he goes to, how many doctor does he personally share information with, what periodicals does he read, how does he keep up todate. any good doctor does all of the above. when he prescibes medince: ask how long has it been on the market, what is it used for, what is he trying to treat, what are the withdrawl symptom. they're more than willing to treat you like sheep, but if you ask questions, and they don't have good answers THEN i would go somewhere else.

i advise this especially if you are being treated for mental health reason, you might be (terribly) suprised...

i can't imagine a doctor that would prescibe a medicine a patient suggests for, especially with all the drug adds.
