When my pocketbook with my meds in it is scanned by the machine at the courthouse, do emanantions from the machine degrade or alter my medications? I am concerned about my Nexium as well as my opioids. Do these machines put out x-rays. Enough to degrade the meds?

I forgot to ask when I went thru -- several times.
