This is one of the most interesting/informed threads I've read. I want to share my experience with the MIB medical records people. I'm middleaged, have been to many, many dr.s in many states (due to several varying health issues). Most under my ins. at that time/ all using my correct ss #. Supposedly the MIB (not the men in ....) has our med. records, but I sent them 9.00 (their fee) to look me up w/my ss# and a response came mailed back stating I was NOT in their data base. I was stunned. I'm not sure what that means, supposedly it's the database that all ins .carriers use. I Should have been in there. Been around. Just my 2cts. Thanks to all.
