The same thing happened to me, although at the time, I had absolutely NO explanation for the Valium, since I hadn't ingested any...then, I remembered that I had had a surgical procedure on my back about a week and a half before, during which I underwent 'conscious IV sedation'. I am sure that was where the Valium came from, but I was still forced into a drug program, even while I was still under the care of a pain management physician. Valium can show up in the urine for up to 6 weeks following a single use. Needless to say, I wasn't going to let my job dictate what my physician could prescribe for me for a legitimate medical problem, so I left. I wish I could offer you some words of wisdom here, but it sounds like you might have to look for another job, and get a script for Valium from somewhere...
