My most recent Customs Luv Note contained the One page "Beware Beware" risky business sheet complete with the Cobra wrapped around the Pill Bottle. In addition, a new paragraph has been added On page 1, before the "Proceeding Elections" Sign off. It reads:
Enclosed is an election of proceedings document Please indicate your election, sign, date, and return the document to the address indicated on the document (Jamaica NY).
NEW VERBAGE: For future reference, enclosed is a public service announcement that warns the general public of the dangers associated with importations of pharmaceuticals. Please note that future attempts to import controlled susbstances my result in personal penalties or criminal prosecution.
Has any one seen one of these b4?? Does anyone have a clue what it's about? Used 2 be they just confiscated the stuff. Now it looks like they might be coming after the importer too, which rises a whole bunch of legalese, such as, how can they prove U purchased it? Not to mention setting up a fall guy that you dont like and let him take the heat, also using a fake name for the ship to address...this seems so full of holes.............
