Re: How can LE tell if you are DUI on pain meds?

Quote:

Hi Yeppers. May I ask what you were stopped for in the first place? And is it always a FELONY to have a personal quantity of a controlled prescription with you that is not in the original bottle? I have been carrying small amounts of meds with me for years in my aspirin bottle just to save space in my purse, but I am becoming a little nervous about doing this now. Also, if you can, can you elaborate on how prescriptions from OPs are viewed by the system, providing you do have the bottle with your name on it?

Thanks for sharing your story. This is something I am becoming increasingly concerned about.

There was another thread on my troubles, in which I got pretty much slammed.
I was stopped for suspicion of DUI back in may.
At this point I have not gone to trial and don't know for sure what the outcome will be.
I was carged with DUI and Possession. From the research I have done and my lawyer, it is not likely that my presciption will fly. I think it is just the whole online thing. You have to remember that many people simply do not accept OP's as legitimate health care. But look at us as junkies.
Until a year ago I had no idea they existed. Back then I don't know how I would have ruled on a jury for possession of buying meds on the net.
On top of that, OP's are very contoversial, and are being shut down left and right.

Oh, and it doesn't help that my script was from one of the pharmacies that was shut down.

So it doesn't look good for me, whch will make Trampy very happy.

My sggestion woul be to get a script from your local doc and carry the OP pills in it.
