most are pretty dumb. I think if you told them you are a lawyer they may be more carefull in asking questions but be prepared to be able to answer some trick ones they throw at you..
either way, never say anything without a good lawyer, its amazing what they can do. Most LE are mental midgets and once a case is taken to court, if it gets that far, screw up bigtime and you end up glad you retained an attorney..
