I actually do this, timetogo

I keep my old hydro and clonopin and other med bottles. I don't want to risk losing my monthly supply so what I do is divide a month's supply into individual containers that DID contain earlier perscriptions of same med.

That way, if i lose the bottle or it is stolen or I lose it or whatever, I still have my main stock. This works best for me.

i have even WASHED clothes that I forgot to remove the bottle and found that the container is WATERPROOF to a degree. Nothing happened to the meds but I would not take them scuba diving. lol.
