This post has opened a can of worms because of its nature that could prbably go one for a long time. There are so many horror stories out there since the LE will target perscription meds. I too thought it was ok to carry a few of various meds in one container for convience until I too was stopped. The cop was not friendly but for some reason let me go but did warn that I needed to carry the meds in the original bottle. i take so many, I would carry a big purse if I was a woman. But what does a guy do? I can only put so much in pockets. I do wear a photographer's jacket in the summer because some are designed to be worn in warm areas and they have toms of pockets. One last thing. I think OP's are a grey area and I will not debate them. I will just say that I would NOT carry any meds in a bottle that was not lableled with an instate or at least nationaly known pharmacy. If I used OP meds, then I would only medicate at home. |
