One last item here - I know in KY refusing testing is the equivalent of a first DUI and there is no recourse (ie automatic suspension and school) as it is now a crime in and of itself to refuse a breathalizer. Of course you could always take that (prescriptions shouldn't show up) but the cops here will, if you pass (i know from experience), charge you with reckless driving, had been drinking (100 fine, court costs, and a trip downtown to get someone to pick you up). Of course the cops here are so bored that if you drink and take a cab home, if the cab is stopped (at a checkpoint or such) and you get out of the cab you are charged with public intoxication, so basically you're screwed either way. Naturally the best option is to not drive after using anything that might affect you (including benadryl, sudafed, etc.), but if you do, don't admit it....
