It's just absurd to control the distribution of needles and syringes!!! Even if they are being used to inject illicit drugs, there is FAR less possibility of transmission of HIV and other diseases when syringes are available to anyone. In my state, I could drive to any pharmacy and buy whatever syringes I want without any questions or prescription.
