I will sidestep the political debate a bit... The fact is that in the U.S. we can walk into a store and buy; a gun, 500 rounds of ammo, the makings for firebombs, a bottle of whiskey, and then a new car to haul all of this in. But, I don't have the freedom to walk into my PCP, get diagnosed with a major illness/injury that causes pain, and walk out with a script for any pain med I need...

You can kill yourself by drinking too much, driving too fast, or going postal (no offense) at your workplace, but you can't get pain relief because feeling good is bad! This is not about our military (although God bless them for their sacrifice), this is about our morality as a society.

We need to kick religion out of our govt in a big way. I believe in one God and my church, but I don't want their morality in the political arena and I sure as heck don't want anyone else's morality deciding my fate.
