I hear you - it is totally "out of control" under the present administration. Amazingly this is the state where our wonderful President's brother is the governor - the governor who has a daughter that spends her time in and out of rehab forging benzo Rx's - does she go to jail - what a double standard. Everything from the ecomomy to quality of life is falling apart. Pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies and the fat cats run the show. Why do you think it is so difficult to obtain pain medication even if you have a legitimate reason? MD's are terrified of lawsuits, pharm companies like Glaxo falsify studies and Paxil is practically given away - but try and get benzos, or any type of painkiller and you may as well crawl off and die. Legalized abortion is "under the gun" but it's just fine to send our young and mainly poor and uneducated off to Iraq to fight and die for oil. I truly am disgusted with this country and almost ashamed to be a citizen at this point. I spent last summer in the Scandinavian countries and let me tell you it was a real eye opener. EVERYTHING "works" - no crime, no poverty, no homeless, everyone has health insurance, and almost everyone is highly educated. If I were a younger person and did not have my family here I would "bail" for sure as I am totally out of patience with the hypocricy of this administration.
