This is not true for my state. Many insurance companies now require mail order. If my state does not require a Cll script that is written here to be filled here it is not a federal law.
I can not speak to other states.

Also in reply to another issue, in my state there is no limit to quantity that can be rx'd. However many doctors naturally are conservative to watch for abuse/diverson.
