Re: New Florida Law...a Florida Pharmacy's Viewpoint

I could be wrong but it seems to me like the "shadier" point and click OPs are the ones making out on this. The more legit OP's are the ones that are going to have to change their ways?????? Am I getting this right?
The following is just my opinion:

A possible correlation: Netpain.com has been the typical, considered legit (although pricey on meds) OP. You send records, call for consult then get the meds and 3 refills. Well, now they have setup a point and click type of site. They already have the "community license" that apoth spoke of. So it looks like since the laws are in their favor, they ALSO opened a p & c website, knowing the potential $$ to be made, now all they have to do is apply for this new license. When this law goes into effect, they will have a small piece of both worlds.

No matter how many dont like it, these p & c places are in huge demand! It seems this change to the law is like the state saying "well, they are already operating out of our state, we make no revenue, lets regulate it, get the license fees and whatever else we can get them to pay"

Does anyone else think this is what is going on also??
We were all afraid that the OP's were going to be closed but it looks to me they want them and their money!
