You've got to get a lawyer ASAP. I don't know what your state laws are. The best thing for you would be alternative sentencing- I don't know if that's an option here. I had a friend who had something sorta similar happen to him, and he went to rehab for 90 days instead. I think it was his first offense as an adult, but still, ask the lawyer about this.

Inpatient treatment is the best thing for you now. If you do get a great lawyer and get acquitted, then I think you should go anyway. This problem is not going to solve itself, and it is clear that you're not solving it yourself- a bupe doctor is not really outpatient rehab, you need intensive inpatient detox and treatment. You will still be able to get Subutex/Suboxone and many other drugs in rehab, quite possibly you will be given benzos. I really hope you do get the treatment you need, and follow it up.

Addiction is a disease, and a dangerous one at that. This is one example of the progression. Were you trying to get "one last high" by getting this wasted before seeing the bupe doctor? It doesn't work that way- there is *never* one last high, always remember that! Cancer patients don't get one last day without cancer, as much as they might wish for it.

So ask your lawyer if there is any way you can get into rehab instead- it's what you need anyway.
