I live in the NW USA. Having read some of the things here I am a little worried.

One of my best friends lives in New Zealand, there is a drug sold over the counter there called Nurofen Plus. It's just tylenol with a little codeine (12 mgs). She sends me packages of it on a regular basis because it works quite well for what ails me. I don't need anything stronger than codeine, and I don't want to go to the doctor for it because I don't want to waste my time and money. She never sends more than 2 or 3 packets (75 tablets)at a time. I also occaisionally order codeine products from IOP's. Not huge orders, between like 10-30 tablets once in awhile.

I never thought it was illegal to order small amounts of weaker drugs like codeine. Maybe it is though? The last time I ordered some codeine it had a hole punched in the package. I don't order large quanities of it or from several sources at the same time. I live in a very small town and have a PO box. I was just wondering, how much danger is there of actually getting in trouble for something like this? I have heard of people getting "nailed" but I always assumed it was people who were ordering large amounts of more powerful drugs from several sources. Maybe I am wrong though? Should I be worried that I could be "nailed" for this? I never thought I could get in trouble for it.
