If that's true, it's a state law. The poster did not say where she was located. Some states have no "speedy trial" laws, especially for felonies. They can sometimes wait for years until the statute of limitations runs out.

I didn't mean that she was going to trial...you have to be ARRAINED (thats the word) within 7 days of the arrest. That is where they just read you the charges, advise you to get an attorney...etc. Not a trail. This is for every state as it is a constitutional thing. aNGLWINK
