Very well put! These types of threads have happened time & time again over the years and I've yet to hear of a single person who followed up with their experience with LE, the courts, the trial, the probation officer, the sentence, etc. etc.

This, as you said, doesn't mean that this situation hasn't happened to a poster, it's just that "we", the members who have been around a long time have seen this scare tactic used over and over. I personally think some of the threads are actually started by LE, or someone with too much time and imagination on their hands.
