Every state is different. My PM doc writes my CII meds out three months in advance, and post dates them, for the fill date, 28 days in advance. So I only have to go back to see him every three months, and the pharmacy(Walgreens)sees the fill date on them. Walgreens carries the meds I am prescribed, and thats the only reason I use them. Other pharms don't carry the med. The first time I got the medication filled, the Walgreen's pharmacist got into my business, and said "you don't have to take three a day with this, you only need two a day", trying to supersede the doctor's prescribing instructions. Needless to say, I follow the prescribing doctors instructions. There is no diagnosis on my prescription.
