I think Plotonis is right on the mark. If it was just the rubber gloves then you could brush it off as the people in the postal service being careful because of the recent scare they had with the powdery substance and I remember the last time there was that scare my whole post office was wearing rubber gloves, but there is no way your post lady should be handing over the receipt to anyone in another vehicle! That just doesn't make sense. Have you made many other IOP purchases? I heard they sometimes keep track. Was your order a controlled substance? If the answer to those questions are yes, I would start flushing, burying or whatever you have to do to get rid of the stuff immediately. Whatever your order was, it surely isn't worth holding on to if they're are getting ready to arrest you for it. I wouldn't take any chances here, this is serious stuff. And throwing it in the garbage isn't going to help, you need to make sure it's gone! Good luck and keep posting so we know you're okay!
