Re: Busted in a huge way! WARNING TO YOU ALL, PLS READ

I have no idea whether the original post is truth or deception. Regardless of whether it is true or false, it IS true that obtaining prescription meds from IOP's over the internet, mail, or telephone is illegal; plain and simple.

It is impossible to accurately calculate the personal risk in ordering from IOP's. It is certainly logical that low volume/infrequent orders will be less likely to result in detection, seizure, investigation, arrest, indictment, prosecution and conviction. It is also logical that orders for medications that have low-schedule US equivalents (e.g., Schedule IV valium; unscheduled Tramadol) will be less likely to bring down the iron fist of LE. But these are simply generalizations; LE does not always operate in a logical or predictable fashion. There are too many variables over which you have no control.

Most who order from IOP's in reasonable quantites for personal use for legitimate medical purposes probably have very little risk of legal consequences; just as those who drive 5-10 miles over the speed limit on the interstate are not likely to get pulled over when they get pinged by a radar gun. But everyone knows speed traps DO exist, and it CAN happen.

If you are risk-adverse, stay away from IOP's and stick with domestic OP's that require records and a telephone conference with the prescribing physician to establish a doctor-patient relationship. Don't double-dip, and don't lie on the questionaire or to the prescribing physician.

The only reason I can think of why anyone (other than a drug dealer) would want to take the risk of using an IOP rather than a domestic OP is financial. Some people simply cannot afford the high prices charged by US OP's and truly need the meds for legitimate medical conditions, and can't find (or afford) a personal physician who will help them. If you are one of these unfortunates, I understand why you use IOP's, and I hope you get away with it. Just don't fool yourself into thinking it is risk free--it's not.

Just my .02.
