I always enjoy your post, as you seem to have much expertise in these areas.

I have a friend who works for the DEA and he told me that as long as valid records are submitted IF there were any legal action taken (in the future because now it is in a gray area)it would be the OP's and pharms they would go after. NOT THE PATIENT!

Hope this clarifies, at least some of your concern.

Like Hoss said, I would leave alone. I wouldn't even call the "higher ups". Maybe talking to the sarge might be OK.
