Wellll....that's kinda true. I am not a magnetic storage specialist, but you can mitigate LE's ability to 'reconstruct' files from your disk by changing the disk format (ie, FAT16, a Linux filesystem, or BSD's FFS, or whatever), then writing 0's over the entire disk, change the format again, lather rinse repeat. A few major filesystem changes can have profound effects on the ability to determine what position any given 'bit' recently was (0 or 1). Then, change it back to FAT32 or NTFS, reinstall, and I would bet money that nothing 'old' could be lifted. Of course, this takes some degree of time
