I used to have this happen all the time with all sorts of packages because the mailboxes at my apt are microscopic & anything bigger than a couple of legal sized envelopes just won't fit in. I'd be upstairs or something and the guy never even knocked on my door.

I wasn't afraid to go to the post office. It was just a major pain. I finally asked my regular carrier to stick any parcels in a little cabinet we happen to have in the foyer of my apt house. He does this for me & was even nice enough to tell the substitute carrier to do the same.

Actonbell, just go & get your package! (Easy for me to say, huh?)
