Re: New OP in R&D phase consider CII's

Your doctor friend would do better opening a local office and properly prescribing. I am sure people would be lining up at his doors. He could advertise on the internet and require the patient's visit him quarterly and he would be within the guidelines and also have plenty of people willing to follow his rules and it "might" keep him out of trouble. The Title 21 section is not a joke and is vigerously enforced. Other than a real office requiring real face to face visits I really don't believe it will last very long. I do think the law is clear there are real timelines that must be met with a CII prescription. If he starts prescribing to a large number of patient's even without the internet there have been many doctor's that have had problems. The record keeping required for ongoing treatment with schedule II's must be meticulous. Otherwise at a minimum he will loose his precribing privilages. Also I believe records would have to be forwarded from a person's primary care doctor ortherwise a person with a copier and computer could cut and paste and fabricate records that would not pass a DEA audit. Then again he would have to find a pharmacy foolish enough to fill his prescriptions and that is another set of rules in itself. Considering the DEA puts pressure on pharmacists to make sure the prescription is legitamate ortherwise the pharmacist is obligated by law to contact the authorities. Take care. Billylll
