Xanax is schedule IV. Intent to distribute would almost certainly have to take an UC investigation, the drug itself quartered into separate containers/baggies, other circumstances I'm sure - sharing with friends, etc. Large quantities of any medication should not be a problem, given you have a necessary medical condition which requires its therapeudic scheduling.
