Re: DOUBLE DIPPING & DEA!!!

Ironically, I was completely drug-free, but decided to go drinking and driving one night; embarrassing; engaged lawyer; got pleaded down from DUI to 'wet reckless', but if I were to get pulled over again in the next---ten years, I think?--and charged, they would both count, and that would be my second DUI--here we refer to that stupidity as "the $10,000 dollar cocktail." But people seem to think they will beat the odds! Instead I would consider myself more prone now to attention, and I really think out times of meds, half-lives, the whole thing. I pray that will be enough. I don't want to kill someone by accident.

Point made is this--I was assured with good behavior and compliance with fines, my record would be expunged.
Well, that's not what I learned in awareness class.

My dear friends, I am pretty sure that everything anyone has ever done, no matter how unimportant it is, could be neatly assembled into a dossier within 48 hours. We are talking one's deceased kindergarten teacher's attendance book right up to what you bought and where you bought it an hour ago. It is not that hard.

This is not paranoia, it is resignation.

I got really mad when I saw one article lately that said pharmacists should be suspicious of people paying cash. I can think of many reasons why someone would want to pay cash besides any official offense, and they are all private and legal for that someone.

I never thought I would be a survivalist, but little by little, I am understanding their thoughts and positions.
Obviously I have revealed a LOT on these boards, but nothing that a good P.I. retired from any force would have trouble finding with a few calls.

So--my deepest sympathies go out to the lady in trouble right now, and all the rest of you; I too worry about getting in trouble for many different reasons; not all of them rational or logical or even founded.

This makes me think of the movie "Minority Report."

One last note--yes, the police are here to protect us, but when they want to arrest you, threats are made, as well as promises. Very scary.
