Well, I must disagree only because of my personal experience. I had a 90 day deferred on an asault/battery and later had the thing expunged and there is not a trace of it today and that was about 6 years ago.

Once they are expunged, they're gone. NOw, if there is a public site not connected to the government, then I can see where it would still show up in the WWW.MrB

You're lucky. I was arrested on a petty misdemeanor over 20 years ago and got a "adjourned with contemplation of dismissal" which should have been expunged because i had no charges against me in the next six months. Well, they put it in the FBI's NCIC and more than 20 years later it still comes up. Had a routine traffic stop and the cop asked me if i lived in that state in the 1970s. Huh?!? The charge was only a low misdemeanor: theft of services. My fingerprints are still in the FBI's database of criminals.
