In lieu of giving her the 2 80 per day he was trying to give her the option to take as needed up to the equivalent of 2 80 per day. I agree narcotic pain med sounds bad given to a pregnant woman, but if she had suicide pain level you have no option do you? If she takes her life while pregnant, there wont even be an addicted baby
