Yes, I know that Demerol is available in tablet form. I've had it prescribed twice following surgery. I was pointing out that Demerol tabs (or any generics) aren't available in a 30mg dosage.

BTW, I found meperidine to be almost worthless when taken orally. Administered IM or IV, however, it's an excellent painkiller, IMO.
