I've always been a staunch supporter of Giga/Pharmaathome, but I've had two unfavorable experiences recently.

I check the website every couple of hours and, last month when they had DHC, I ordered. A couple of days later, I got an email saying they were out of stock (nothing new there) and they'd credit my card back and they did.

However, they credited about $20 less than was charged. I wrote them about it and was told I'd receive a credit at the website.

Doesn't help much if they're always out of everything.

The same thing happened last week when Hydro was showing as available last week for a couple of hours. I ordered immediately only to receive another email saying they were out of stock and they'd credit my card. Well, again, it was credited about $20 short of what they initially charged.

In fairness to them, the way the charges look on my statement makes it appear that the credit card "gateway" company may have been responsible. Still, in the event they have to credit you back, it's recommended that you always check your statement to ensure that the amount returned is equal to the amount initially charged.
