Here's a good one for you. The facts: I make an order on 10/17/04 Order confirmed a few minutes later. Same day I am asked to fax a copy of my ID. Fax done 10/19/04 Confirmation of fax receive same day. 10/21/04 (approx) Enquire via website over shipping. 10/22/04 (approx) Told the website does not track and will not track for approx 8 more weeks 10/27/04 Enquire via e-mail over possible shipping date 10/27/04 Again told the site does not track shipping 10/29/04 Enquire via PM from this site on possible shipping date 10/29/04 Receive both e-mail and PM stating my order has been cancelled and funds returned to my account. (I believe it won't show up for a few days though due to the way my bank works.) At no time (until this evening's e-mail) was I told that no one had even seen my order before 10/25. Cancelling an order instead of answering a simple question in an understandable way is not the way to do business. All I wanted was an explanation, not to be told the site does not track. (When one sees shipment pending for 10 straight days, one tends to enquire on what is happening.) At no time was I rude, abusive or resort to name calling. I merely wanted a possible shipping date so I could calculate approx when my order would arrive. Instead, my order was cancelled. D2003 |
