Injectable Talwin-

The only time I've had an IV narcotic injected in me instead of the usual IM was when I originally tore my disc.

The Ambulance guy gave me the entire 10 mg Morhpine Sulfate at once instead of 2mg increments every 5 minutes or so until the pain is tolerable.

I know it was a mistake becuase when the injector handed the empty needle to the other ambulance guy to throw away his eyes got big and they exchanged a "silent" glance at each other and then they both stared at me for the rest of the trip waiting to see if my head started to spin, I guess.

Anyway, the rush I got from that injection was like nothing I had ever experienced and can definitely see why someone could become addicted to IV drugs.

I have a small problem that in that I get nauseous and vomit whenever anyone tries to poke a needle into me so I don't think I could actually stick myself.

But jeez- what a rush that was.

Does Talwin have that same effect?
