it just means they have electronically sent the number to UPS and it signals them there is a package to be picked up. The package has not actually been picked up yet. When it is you will see the delivery instructions (ground, next day air, etc.) Usually picked up late in day...donot know where it is coming from so time differences, etc. Good luck.
