Re: Talked with DEA

While it seems that newbies are automatically under suspicion at first, I'm going to leap of this here mountain and add my two (or three) cents. Believe it or not, my "ex" (who also happens to be my daughter's daddy) was UC DEA. He's been retired for about five years, but he does stay in touch and he does know what's what.

When I first started ordering about two+ years ago from overseas establishments, I asked him what my exposure might be. He just laughed and told me not to worry about it. He said that DEA has so many fish to fry (both larger and smaller) that I should not waste my time worrying.

Also, keep in mind that any such "sting" would not just involve the one agency. It would have to be a cooperative project involving customs, postal service and DEA. And, regardless of this being the post-911 era of supposed interagency cooperation, they don't like to "share" or work together.
