Absolutely!!! Sometimes it can work the other way around. Correct me if I'm wrong, but women are more likely to get addicted, so sometimes women don't get the pian meds they need. It depends on the Dr.'s preconceived ideas. Some think men are supposed to just "suck it up" and be tough, while women are weaker and need more help. Some think women are more needy and hypochondriacs. I haven't figured it out yet. Each one is different, but they are usually all afraid of the DEA.
