Yes, one of the big pharmaceutical companies is making a big deal about the Canadian pharmacies. The drug companies have huge lobbies and even bigger budgets. They have a lot at stake. But, like Toky says, we all need to do something about this. There is no reason anyone any place on this earth should have to sacrifice food, shelter or anything just to buy maintenance medicine.

Of course, I do believe capitalism is great. If we can't change our government, we can change our actions and reactions. If the big US drug manufacturers stop selling to the Canadian pharms, there will be others to take their places. For example, Imported Drugs or OffshoreRX or all the other ones that sell generics will probably see a big increase in business if the Canadian pharms can't sell the brand names. And there are plenty of meds that aren't off patent here but are overseas, so it's fair game. We just have to convince our loved ones that buying a generic med from overseas is okay and, more importantly, safe.
