Racism? Yes I hear that is a rather common occurance...

It manifests itself in so many ways it would be very difficult to disagree with your experiences.

But just as there are doctors who specialize in both patient care and chip shots, racism will exist in some form within any group you examine.

Personally I don't give pain medication to any black people regardless of the degree of pain they are suffering. A black man could be doubled over, literally crying from the pain of a jagged bone sticking 90 degrees out of their chest but I wouldn't give them a shot of demerol or a percocet, nor would I even consider it.

Then again I'm not a doctor. The closest I come to even being considered a member of the medical profession is the Dr. Pepper in my refrigerator. I'd give a black man a soda, though. Do it all the time.

Racism is absolutely disgusting. The way it is treated in America reminds me of a quote by Stalin, "One death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic."

And on another note, yes I am teetering on the off-topic line here, I think the current standard of calling black people "African-Americans" is ridiculous. "Asian-Americans," "Latino-Americans," etc... they're all meaningless terms. We are AMERICANS. If an individual black person requests me to refer to him/her as an "African-American" then I will do so if that is what he/she prefers out of respect to that particular individual. but, to be fair, if someone requests that I call them "piddypiddypiddypiddywahwaaahhh" then I'll do that too, but only after checking behind me for n exit sign.

I'm white, not Caucasian (unless you are a police officer), and not European-Anerican, and I will continue to have white, black, asian, and latino friends and say to HECK with the ridiculous PC shite that is being shoveled like garbage into a trough that is already plenty full.
