Re: Forged Signature/Missing Delivery?

Thanks for replying, you all (Texas talk)!

I agree with Pooh. I've never been asked for ID at home - just have to sign before getting the package. But how would someone know to sign my name? Or I guess they could scrawl something, and the mailman would give the package to them?

Legitimate, yes, I did the tracking thing and it said it was delivered at "such-and-such time" and signed by "me." That's why I'm scared! I should have never bothered to check the status tonight!

I'm friendly with a few neighbors, but no one knows I order meds overseas. If someone signed and wants to keep the contents, I guess that's better than other alternatives. It's the other alternatives I'm worried about. And I just don't know whether to pursue this with USPS Monday. I don't want to get the vendor or me in trouble. I did write Destiny and asked them if they ever heard of this and if they used the right address. Also asked them if I should just call it a loss and reorder. They certainly did their part and did it quickly and professionally. It's just the delivery part that's screwed up!

And it's the signature thing that really scares me. Then again, sometimes other delivery people leave stuff without a signature even though they aren't supposed to. If so, do they scan that a signature was received into their little hand-held device and just leave the package?

So I don't know - maybe it was delivered to another address. The tracking was just too specific and is worrying me. I'm trying to rationalize all this now and want to know what options, if any, I have.

My biggest fear is it was delivered to some self-righteous thief who decides to open it, doesn't want it, and calls the MIB. I'm too old for all this anxiety, and not getting my order (when it's obviously someplace nearby) really accentuates all this!

I will keep you all posted if you're interested. If you don't hear from me soon, I'm you-know-where.
