This is so ridiculous! I mean, suppose you have a regular Dr. who prescribes pain meds. Now suppose it is a Sunday night and u go to the ER with a migraine or a broken leg or something and u get a script there. The Dr. is obviously a different Dr. than your Primary one and u most likely will use the Hospital Pharmacy since you are already there..... One has nothing to do with the other and I think it is ridiculous that the DEA could call or come knocking accusing you of wrongdoing!!! This exact sitaution happened to me before (not the DEA calling, but the ER visit) ...in fact, I think I am the one that originally started this thread ![]() Thanks for letting me vent, guys, I feel better now........ ![]() PS!!!!! Actually, here is part of MY post about the ER visit and being questioned about it: "It then appears that Dr. #1 took it upon themselves to call a few other chain DrugStores to "enquire" about me..... they did note that over the summer I had a script for 10 Vikes filled at a Fred Meyer pharmacy (that was due to an ER visit on a Sunday) and a script filled also at the Fred Meyer for Lorezepam (from my Psychiatrist for anxiety) and on the last page of my records, it is written (and I quote) "future requests for Vicodin will be denied, drug seeker." I am so glad I have a new Dr. now who so far, is very nice......... |
