Since I try to become friends with nearly everyone("HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE") I have always cozied up to delivery people. Eventually working around to "don't you find it a pain in the neck to have people sign?"
I reached a point with UPS/USPS/FEDEX/ where they just hand me MOST packages that should be signed. They already scribbled something for me.
