Something told me to log in one more time tonight! First of all- IAM THE NEIGHBOR IN THE SOUTH!!!- grew up in Charleston, South Carolina- that should speak for itself- have always been in the South- from Cape Hatteras- to Wilmington N.C.( thats considered " the freakin' south too!)- have sister who was in Tupelo,Miss.- have spent time in Atlanta- have relatives in Georgia( Georgia State Troopers don't play around- everybody down here respects them or else- but they are on top of the game)- where I am now near the mideast coast is also considered "the south"! I am proud to be a native of the South just as I am to be a United States citizen!- so I hope that clears up that BIG misperception once and for all- I sure as hell would not bash my own heritage nor anyone elses- it COULD be any small community in any part of the U.S. The only reason I commented on the Alabama incident( yep- got friends over there too) was because I have seen local town officials overreact to things that did not deserve to be blown way out of proportion! No derogatory intent about any region of the country- now I have only been to D.C. once- other than that I've never been North of Virginia Beach- so I can't comment on the New York immigrant incident except to say injustice happens unfortunately everywhere border to border! oh yea- I'm very familiar with the part of the "Motto of the State of Georgia- all things in moderation"- The term "Southern hospitality" IS a valid reality so maybe some of y'all should come on down and chill out awhile!- but if ya stomp on toes too hard(especially around Charleston, S.C. and Georgia) you can turn a laid back Southern gentleman into a Lion! Now y'all can camp out here and debate till the sun comes up, but I've got a PM to answer and another page I want to look at!
PEACE,
