It's true that the 'average' seems to go down faster than it goes up, but it really doesn't. I know because I spent many a dull college hour trying to figure out how one 'C' could ruin my chances to graduate at the level I wanted, when 3 years of 'A's were there first!!?? Kind of like the car insurance thing: I once got a 3 point ticket for having a single car accident on a gravel road with critters. I'd never had a ticket before (or since), yet my insurance went up 300% for 2 years!! When I asked, the company told me "nope, you're right--those 20 years of excellent driving don't mean diddly right now!!"

We each know who to trust here, I think
