What you get is a plethora of advantages that normal free members don't, you also get access to the VIP forum which is a great source of information (not that the free board isnt, its just that the VIP persons are more inclined to help one another) not to mention that the discounts themselves pay for your membership very quickly. It also helps DB grow above and beyond their current capacity, I'm sure it cost money to keep tabs with this site, pay the bills etc. It's a highly regarded, respected site and I believe becoming a VIP is not only righteous but your helping the community as a whole.
