TOKY-You are absolutely right about being considerate to other people. Post office workers don't always have the best job in the world. But I have a two-fold problem. I'm never home to receive deliveries--mine are mostly registered mail from Thailand often sent in small amounts due to OP's rules not my request. So first the letter carrier has to write frequent "pink slips" with the "generic return address--Thailand" often several times in one week so I can pick up the packages at the PO. (They all seem to come at the same time no matter how I try to space them out.) Then I have 2 to 4 pink slips to bring to the post office at one time and sometimes get funny looks from the clerks. As people have said above, a card and cash has worked wonders with my letter carrier. On the other hand, I'm not so sure what to do in the Post Office since I'm required to go to the same Post Office Branch as my zip code. If I try and distract the clerks with conversation, they get flustered on signing off the packages. And the LAST thing I want to do is try to rush them. Anyone else with this problem or possible solutions? Thanks for your help!!
