Re: Applying for free meds thru drug companies

My mother-in-law is under several of these programs and she only has to pay for one med. Your doctor should be able to steer you in the right direction. The only downside to the program is it depends on what med your on and who manufactures it. Not all drug companies participate in the program. My mom in law's doc switched her to the same type of meds, just made by a different company and that qualified her for the program. Her doctor signs off on some form that she fills out every 90 days and sends it off to the drug companies. She gets a minimum of 90 days supply at a time up to 6 months worth depending on the meds.

It's a good program once you get thur filling out all the paperwork.

Good Luck!
