Re: EMPTY bottles of hydro on ebay...

What I noticed is that certain sellers get a lot of money on their bids (i.e. one seller with multiple items/multiple listings).

I believe what is going on is that some of these bidders HOPE the bottle is full, and hence the high bid amounts. At the same time, there are some sellers who consistently draw highers amounts. I know that a person can report the listing to eBay and eBay then removes the listings on higher priced items.

Either way, the sellers are HOPING that the bidders think they are full. Of course the sellers are going to say they are empty--whether they are or not. And IF someone pays up to $1,000 for an "empty" bottle--yes, I've seen sales as high as $1,000, and the bottle arrives empty, they CANNOT complain since all the listings say they are empty.

On the other hand, I wonder how the same sellers can command some high prices, whereas some of the bottles have no bids at all. Perhaps is drugdealing really going on? If so, it's illegal, and high bid items should be reported to eBay immediately. Within an hour or two, the listing will be removed by eBay.

What is this world coming to?
